Written as a tribute to his wife early in her battle with cancer. That battle is ongoing years later, and so is his urge to express his feelings in ways he could not before.

Born from a meal with his kids on St. Croix when a particularly dark chicken started sneaking up on their food — something that happens all the time on the island. The concept of “stealth chicken” came up and the song practically wrote itself.
Written for his children. A powerful, Lego Ninjago–inspired anthem designed to bring them together and tell them how strong they are during a hard part of their lives. The song reflects a lot of the feelings of that time.
